Spanner has blond hair, and is nearly always(save for one occasion-sleep) seen wearing a green one-piece work suit and black boots.He is an engineer in the Millefiore Family's Melone Base. Spanner is a B Rank member of the Black Spell. He belongs to the family's tech department and is responsible for the creation of the family's Mosca. He invented the Mini Mosca and he builds Moscas for the Millefiore Family. Spanner is always seen with a sucker in his mouth, these suckers are designed to improve one's abilities, mental and physical. Spanner grew up with Irie and their relationship became a rivalry between two technical minds. They both built robots and entered them in competitions against one another.

Future Arc
Melone Base Invasion
He was told by Shoichi to locate and eliminate Tsuna. After Tsuna defeated Spanner's King Mosca, Tsuna was knocked out. Spanner took Tsuna to his workroom where he managed to perfect Tsuna's X Burner, as he wished to see its full power. He did so by inventing a pair of contact lens for Tsuna that let him control the power of each glove while using the X Burner. As he mentioned using the Storm Mole in Ch. 230, it's speculated that Spanner's flame is the Storm flame. He has now formed an alliance with the Vongola Family, in doing so, he has formed a rivalry with Giannini for the best creation, or invention to use against Byakuran in the battle between Vongola and Millefiore. He is seen sleeping in chapter 239, just as Choice is beginning.
Choice
Spanner is participating in Choice as a member of Tsuna's Family. Currently, he is at the Lightning Field waiting for Byakuran to explain the outcome of the Gyro Roulette.
Storm Mole(?) - It is hinted at that Spanner may have summoned this Box Weapon to dig a hole for him and Shoichi.
Trivia
Spanner, it seems, put his love of machinery before his commitment to the Millefiore, as not only does he have no qualms about helping Tsuna perfect his best move, but also joining and aiding his family.
