Episode 50 - Guardian of Mist is Coming?
With Nana quietly watching over Lambo, Haru and Kyoko making good luck charms and dolls of their love ones, the scene for the mist battle is made. The Vongola family which consists at that time of Yamamoto, Gokudera, Ryohei, Basil, Reborn and Tsuna, awaits the next start of the Mist Ring battle, Tsuna wakes up in the Gym of Namimori MIddle School, everyone was worried about him cause he was knocked out for so long. The Mist Guardian is running late and is causing a different worry for the Vongola Family. Varia is ready with Mammon standing patiently waiting for his opponent. Tsuna tries to remember what he knows about the Mist Guardian but he draws a blank when he was getting close. Reborn says that the guardian has arrived. Ken Joshima and Chikusa Kakimoto. Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto feel on edge since they were past enemies. Reborn tells them to calm down cause they have brought the Mist Guardian. Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto start to think that if they are here that the guardian must be Mukuro. Ken and Chikusa are seen with a disgusted look on their face while the shadow of the Mist Guardian is seen entering behind them slowly.
Episode 51 - Illusion vs Illusion
The shadow of the Mist Guardian enters the Gym, it is not Mukuro but a Young Girl in the Kokuyo Junior Uniform named Chrome Dokuro. She has the an eyepatch and a Trident. As she slowly enters moving towards Tsuna everyone on the Vongola side seems shocked. Tsuna asks if its true that she isnt Mukuro, still showing disgusted looks Ken and Chikusa dont seem to want to answer. Gokudrea showing his protective nature towards Tsuna still doesnt believe that Chrome isnt just Mukuro. Gokudera remembers Mukuros ability to possess another person and sees Mukuro as a guy who just looks towards his own goals. Chrome asks if Gokudera would believe her, he quickly refuses to believe. Gokudera points out the Eyepatch and Trident. Even though Gokudera thinks that it is Mukuro, Tsuna states that he thinks that she isnt Mukuro. For defending her, Chrome thanks Tsuna and kisses him on the cheek, which shocks everyone. Gokudera gets mad at Chrome's greeting and tries to get her away from Tsuna while Yamamoto holds him back, Tsuna is still blushing. Some of the Varia members find amusement in the Vongola, The Mammon's pet Fantasma starts to get excited. The question of should Chrome join the Vongola is brought up by Ryohei, Gokudera is already yelling back against. Ken and Chikusa are ready to fight Gokudera to have her join. Chrome calms down Ken and Chikusa and asks Tsuna who she calls Boss, if she is unfit to be his guardian of mist. She wants to fight for him and seems very loyal to him. Tsuna doesnt know what to say since it was so sudden and he knows the battle is important. Reborn says that she is the only person that is able to be the Mist Guardian. Gokudera cannot believe what Reborn is saying. Tsuna knows what Reborn is saying is correct, even though Ken and Chikusa were enemies before, Tsuna's father chose his guardians and believes in him. He lets Chrome choose if she wants to fight, Gokudera cant believe that Tsuna is trusting her too. Chrome thanks Tsuna again. Colonnello enters the gym, Ryohei thought he was suppose to be at his house sleeping. Colonnello was napping on the flight there and is even able to talk to Ryohei clearly while sleeping. He wakes up cause he is curious to know if the Varia Mist Guardian is a Acrobaleno or not. The battle is said to begin, Ryohei wants to form the team circle. Chrome says that it is not needed. She walks to the middle of the gym.
The Mist guardian battle's field is the whole gym, there is no special devices like the other battles. Reborn states that a mist battle doesnt need any special devices. Confusing the enemy by making nothing into something and something into nothing. The spectators are put into a infrared laser detection box like in the storm battle. The battle begins. Chrome attacks out on the attack creating an illusion of her breaking the gyms floor and making floating platforms out of it. Everyone in the spectator boxes except Xanxus, Colonnello and Reborn are shock up by the illusion. Mammon isnt suprised that she can use illusions like him and calls her move Childs Play. He easily uses her illusions to get close to her and makes an illusion of tenticles that wrap up Chrome. Chrome's illusion disappears cause she she is binded by Mammon. Mammon thinks that the match will be done easy. Chrome then appears behind Mammon and asks who was talking to. The Chrome who was wrapped up was actually a basket of basketballs. Tsuna remembers that illusions was Mukuros First Path to Hell. Mammon releases the basket and his illusion of tenticles were actually just paper. Mammon believes that since Chrome has skill he is able to unleash his full power. Release the chain around his necklace. His pet unleashes its true form from a frog to a lizard-like snake who bites its own tail to make a halo ring above Mammons head. Giving him the ability to float. Mammon is indeed an Acrobaleno and Colonnello cant believe that he is alive. His Acrobaleno name is said to be Viper. Viper's is the greatest psychic of the Acrobaleno and he has found away to block the power of the Acrobaleno. Colonnello fears that the vongola will lose to Viper, Reborn has more faith in Chrome cause she isnt a normal magician.
Chrome starts to attack again. This time with swift physical trident strikes which Viper dodges easily.Viper claims its impossible to strike him if he can fly, as he goes higher and higher, Chrome uses an illusion behind him that wrapped him up in snakes. It was such a good illusion Viper cant tell that it isnt real. Tsuna sees that ability similar to Mukuros Path of the Beast. Gokudera tries to bring Tsuna back to his way of thinking but Tsuna still believes in her. Viper breaks the snake hold with his pacifier. Chrome continues on the offensive by creating an illusion of raising fire which Viper is completely caught in. Viper escapes unhurt, he says that Chromes illusions are first-class, but claims that her weak spot is in her illusions. He then does a counter illusion that froze the gym and chromes pillers of fire. Viper continues to talk that the power of an illusion is in the five senses. Controlling the five senses is the power of an illusionist. The more powerful the control the more likely the opponent will fall for an illusion. But when an illusionist has their illusion countered its like they gave up that power. He then starts to slowly turn Chrome into ice. Viper then tosses Chrome and gets rid of the illusion. When Chrome dropped the trident instead of worrying about her pain she crawls quickly to grab it. Viper sees the trident as important and makes an illusion of him breaking it. Since Chrome had her illusion countered her control over her own five senses was more in the control of Viper. She falls back, her stomach starts to cave in. Viper cannot understand whats happening since he just broke the trident. As Chrome calls out to Mukuro her past is now shown.
After analysis, Viper can see that Chrome has been surviving on illusions of organs. As she continues to cry out to Mukuro, the sound of Mukuro talking to Chrome is heard by Tsuna. Steam is then released from Chrome, Tsuna can feel that Mukuro is coming. The trident returns back in chromes hand, her hands turn into a glove and Chromes eyepatch falls off showing Mukuros eye.
Episode 52 - The Hazy Truth
Which mist still circling Chrome and attack like her first one an illusion of breaking the gym floor was directly sent to Viper, knocking him down. As the mist lightens Mukuro appears. Viper appears to know a little of Mukuros past, him trying to escape from the Vendicare Prison. Where Mukuro failed and was sent to the lowest level of the prison. Mukuro calls the Varia's intelligence pathetic. Viper thinks that Mukuro is just an illusion wrapped around Chrome like the basketballs, he unleashes an illusion of a blizzard at Mukuro. Slowly Mukuro starts to get frozen until he turns into a human block of ice. Viper makes an illusion of a metal hammer. and flies towards the frozen Mukuro. When Viper was just about to smash Mukuro, Mukuro makes an illusion of Lotus Flowers that entangle Viper. Mukuro defrosts himself. Viper is being hurt by the flower. Reborn states that Mukuro is the Guardian of Mist, and that Chrome and Mukuro are not 2 seperate people. Viper unleashes some of his power to get out of Mukuros illusion. Viper tries to make illusion copies of himself to confuse Mukuro. Mukuro goes into his physical combat mode the Path of the Demon. Viper evades Mukuros strikes and starts to unleash his full power, an illusion that seems to be wrapping space inside the gym itself. Mukuro attacks back with his pillar of fire with lotus flowers attached to it. All the spectators except Reborn and Colonnello seem to be in pain by the mixtures of illusions, which is called Illusionary Poisoning. Viper cannot believe that Mukuro is so powerful but still manages to freeze his pillers of fire. As Tsunas head starts to hurt because of the illusions directly going to his brain he seeing images of Mukuro in jail. Mukuros jail escape is then shown.
Viper attacks Mukuro with mass illusion clones, which Mukuro defeats easily wit his trident. Viper finds an opening behind Mukuro to trap him with another illusion which traps Mukuro in a huge bag. Vipers pet then attacks the bag. Mukuro breaks out using the lotus illusion, he appears with both halfs of the Mist Vongola Ring. Mukuro thinks that the battle is over. Viper claims he hasnt shown his real power. Mukuro reminds Viper of what he said to Chrome about countering an illusion and makes Vipers pet start to strangle him. He then uses Vipers own illusion against him. He then makes an illusion of himself going to Vipers body and having Viper exploded from the inside out. Victory is awarded to Chrome.
